Light Weavers are an elusive breed of dragon, most commonly sighted in the coldest months. When the days grow short and dark, these spirits of winter emerge from their dens just after sunset, painting the sky in a dazzling display of light that’s as rare as it is awesome to behold. It is said they only make their presence known to lost travelers on the brink of despair, whom they guide to safety with a trail of enchanted light. This light radiates a comforting warmth powerful enough to cut even through the most frigid temperatures. According to legend, flames lit by their antlers do not burn out until they are no longer depended upon by the recipient.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Peace is a serene and gentle dragon, though she is a lot more showy than her breed is typically meant to be. She prides herself as a sort of wintertime cupid. She uses her enchanted light weavings, not only to guide lost travelers out of danger, but also to guide disparate, lonely souls together. She's a matchmaker, and a fine one at that. Dozens of stories have arisen involving shining lights guiding destined partners together, occasionally with Peace herself showing up to make a speech, the same way a speaker at a wedding would. She is extravagant and almost boisterous in nature when it comes to these celebrations. She can actually get pretty controlling of her clients, especially if their relationship may not be ideal in her mind. Having been heartbroken herself, Peace strives to make everyone else's lives as happy and perfect as possible. She doesn't want anyone to feel the despair she did, so will aggressively force away anything that doesn't make these moments joyous.
