As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Seddra is known for her kindness. As a hatchling, Seddra would worry about her hatch-mates rather than herself. She offers her meals to those who need them and will do anything to make someone smile. Due to her acts of kindness, she has been granted the name "Seddra the Kind". Now that she is a fully grown adult, she wanders through the night in search of unhappy faces. When she finds them, Seddra knows it is her utmost goal to make them smile and help them with their struggles. This can be very dangerous for Seddra but she is willing to take that risk.
