Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Hadun was brought to the Dragon Tribe as an abandoned egg. As he grew up, he fell in love with a Daydream Dragon named Mylrea. Sadly, she is too busy, well, daydreaming to notice him. To preoccupy himself from Mylrea, he goes out on patrols and scares off any rogue dragons he thinks are a threat. This means anyone, even future (or potential) tribe-mates. He stands on his hind legs, hisses, and spreads his frills to scare them off, something he enjoys doing sometimes.

Despite this, he is a kind dragon at heart (Shame Mylrea never notices him). When the dragon doesn't seem like a threat, he'll help out, and he is known to carry eggs back to the cave with his wings wrapped around them so they stay warn and don't fall. Though, the latter is just to show he's as much of a good parent that he should be to a certain someone.
