Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Living in the high, lofty reaches of the mountains is Solbrandr, a creature of beauty and sunshine. He is generally peaceful and gentle, hard to anger and easy to like. He can be a bit shy and quiet around new dragons, but usually warms up to them pretty fast—after all, he's born to live in a pack. Solbrandr enjoys lying side by side in the sun with a dragon of his own kind very much, and can often be found sunbathing on hot stones.

Even if he is a calm creature, he's got his adventurous streak. He can often be found leading small groups of other dragons anywhere really, mainly exploring areas around the mountain range, and hunting for prey.
