Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Shiromori is a dragon rumored to almost have a witch-like ability to control plant life, despite being a simple Seasonal Dragon. Some claim it to be her mere connection to nature and affinity for growing plants, while others say it's really just a new and strange form of magic. Shiromori herself says nothing about it—most can barely even locate her most of the time, anyway.

It's because she's constantly on the hunt for a dragon supposedly named Mystery, who had wronged her in some way that no dragon can really figure out. She's said to have searched far and wide across Valkemare, using her mysterious "powers" to survive and search for this dragon that barely anyone's ever heard of. It's rumored that Mystery doesn't really exist, and she's just making up the lie so that she can escape and be alone.

Then again, nobody really knows the truth. Half of her existence is basically a myth in the first place.
