Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Christmas Wings is often seen staring deeply at Celestial Goddess, a silver dragon and his first love.

A long time ago, the spell preventing two "rare" dragons breeding with each other was lifted. Celestial Goddess, a very beautiful silver, was asked to breed with Christmas Wings. At first, she was reluctant to breed with him, however Christmas Wings won her over using his natural clumsy nature. The two of them produced three lovely silver eggs, however it came with a price. The spread of the "rare" eggs was spreading too rapidly, so the spell preventing them to breed was activated once again. Christmas Wings no longer had the ability to produce any eggs for Celestial Goddess. After a very tough internal battle, Christmas Wings told Celestial that they should no longer be together. Celestial, of course, was deeply hurt about this. Feeling guilty, Christmas Wings also decided to tell her that even though they can't have any eggs together, he will always be there to help her.
