Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Tired Inferno is a lonely male Hellfire wyvern. He has very little self confidence. Inferno sees every little flaw in himself as far bigger than it actually is. No dragon has yet seen that behind Inferno's disbelief in himself; he is a kind dragon. He'll melt black ice on a cold day or leave the scraps of his meal for the hatchlings in secret. Inferno does this for no reward or praise, he simply wants others to be happy.

Inferno lives in a tiny cave near a volcano named "The Mouth Of Thorn". He usually remains here for most of the day, only emerging to hunt. When Inferno sees dragons with their mates, laughing with their friends or playing with hatchlings he feels a hollow inside his heart. Inferno dreams of having a mate and children, but is certain that he is too flawed for anyone to love.

Tired Inferno was abandoned as an egg, which may have some connection with his low confidence. Maybe someday, one dragon will break through the bonds that Inferno has built around his heart.
