And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
This dragon was born confused. No matter how many times any concept is explained to her, she just doesn't get much of anything. This often results at her shouting out her noncomprehension to anyone within hearing range. While the other hatchlings don't socialize with her much due to the confusion and the shouting, she gets along well with SOU DESU KA and II DESU NE, who happily shout along with her, despite the fact that no one understands what anyone is talking about.
