Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Mageia, found exclusively in desert regions, are thought to be the wisest Xenowyrm subspecies. Due to their knowledge of the magi element, they are able to cast a variety of magics, including teleportation. Their beautiful yellow scutes are reflective and smooth like glass, making them very valuable to collectors.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Heckate is a very proficient mage, but while she loves spending hours studying her craft by candlelight, her true passion is teaching. She is not easy but students love her and enjoy her class, though they often tease her fondly for her exuberance towards, well, everything. When she reaches a topic that excites her, she starts shouting and all of her words blend together. Her tail has been known to catch fire in the middle of a particularly riveting lecture (at which point she panics and tries to blow it out, and generally destroys the classroom in a hilarious manner).

Oddly enough her powers also seem to be connected to the sun and its proximity to Valkemare. In the morning she is most proficient in Life magic, Light magic at noon, and Dark magic at sundown. At night she has little to no powers in these areas. One of her life goals is to figure out the reasoning for this, but she is far too preoccupied with finding new ways to engage her students to do much research on the matter.
