Anagallis Dragons are a medium-sized omnivorous breed. Widespread and adaptable, their easygoing nature enables them to flourish under most conditions. They are social creatures, fun-loving and outgoing, and will readily defend smaller dragons from others’ aggression. They are fond of sunshine, and can often be found basking on rocks; on cloudy or stormy days they are more reluctant to venture out, and will often hide themselves away until the weather is more favorable.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Adam is one of the lucky dragons to have been raised by Remy. Remy is the human caretaker of the colony known as Ryuu Tanima. Adam hatched into one of Remy's biggest clutches ever, largely because Remy forgot to distribute the eggs she had found, and next thing she knew, her cottage was filled with tiny dragons. Adam was raised alongside his brothers Leviy and Kalil, and their sisters Gixi, Biti, Uriti, and Yaffa. Adam's name means "Earth or Red", due to his striking coloration.
