Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

John2 is basically the starter of all the John family. Even though, it is a hatchling, and it is unable to breed, John2 took the responsibility of the John family. One day, it met John, and then John2 found John's main soulmate Joanna. Then their first egg was born, John3. Unfortunately, John2 was frozen by evil wizards, and now it is unable to incubate. However, it became the father of all the John family with his wise and friendly personality. John30 likes John2 very much. The only mystery of John2 still unsolved is what its gender is.
