Jester Dragons are a pleasant, agreeable breed of dragon known for their striking colors and springy, playful-looking way of moving. Jesters are light on their feet and almost look like they’re dancing from place to place, making them rather fun to watch, but this is simply their natural tendency. Jesters are drawn to excitement and noise, and to dragons and even humans with natural leadership skills. A Jester’s heads tend to get along quite well and are good at recovering from actual conflict, though the black-masked head is generally witty and a bit snarky, and the white-masked head is typically more cheerful and good-natured. Their light-hearted bickering is often cited as an inspiration for comedic writing. Jesters are far from defenseless, though: if actually threatened, they have a very toxic venomous bite, and they are perceptive dragons despite their apparent playfulness. It is thought that their bright, sharply-contrasting colors are aposematic, to warn potential predators of their venom.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

User Description

One head's grump and one's not so grump. Together, this wild Jester is ready to entertain. Each head, in addition to their opposing personalities, is talented at different things. The black head (typically called Arin) is an artist, impressionist, and gamer. He enjoys card and board games, though is admittedly prone to extreme rage and will often freak out while playing against the other head, Dan. (This leads many to accuse Arin of "Sucking at games.") He has an incredibly versatile voice, able to do a wide range of hilarious and odd voices. The white head, Dan, is much more calm and peaceful, though equally comical. He is a singer, performer, and musician, able to write his own songs. He is also a talented game player, but it's clear that niche is better suited for Arin. Though different, these two halves make for an excellent team and are very popular around their home island. They are their alpha's favorite entertainers, she tunes in whenever they put on a show.
