Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Little Cheez Whiz is a very special dragon: apart from being a living piece of cheese, it was its owner's 500th dragon. Occasionally, it would nibble itself when bored, but it somehow magically regenerates. Maybe it is from the magic that made it alive. Anyhow, it is very shy, but loves to play with the little ones. Little Cheez Whiz doesn't go out of the cave much, since one time a wild dragon decided to try to eat a big chunk of cheese. It also is a great storyteller; since it doesn't communicate much, it listens.
