Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Snowscale spent his life as a hatchling alone, rummaging for food in animal dens, usually to get chased out by whatever lived in there.  He slept in the snow, freezing at night and never made much contact with any other dragons.  It was only when he reached adulthood he made first contact with another of his species.  Her name was Isis, and fell in love as soon as he saw her.  She'd only liked him as a friend at the time, but Snowscale knew they were meant to be.  But Isis insisted on only liking him as a friend.  For a while, he just dealt with it.  But one day, Isis was attacked by a group of polar bears, who pinned her down so she couldn't escape.  He heard her cries for help and chased those polar bears away by blowing large ice flames.  Isis was forever thankful for his good deed, and decided on the spot Snowscale was right.
