Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

He is a proud, but selfish son of sunset. When he takes to the air in the evening, the other dragons sometimes whisper with each other, telling the hatchlings the story about GlowyZoeys mum. She was beautiful, but also self-absorbed and vain. One day she went on a trip all alone and when she arrived at the Horizon-Area, which is the border of Dragonland, she took a rest in a deserted cave. In the cavern she found a magic mirror, which she brought to her clan. She spent days and weeks admiring herself in the looking glass and when she left her cave at last, she was well advanced in pregnancy. The hatchling which came into the world some weeks later was one of the prettiest babies the clan had ever seen. But he also seems to be unable to put himself in anybody's shoes.
