Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Storm-Rose tries very hard to be like the flower she was named for: elegant and beautiful. Because of this she tries very hard to be patient and friendly, but often finds her temper getting the better of her. What Storm-Rose seems to forget, even though the other Whispers dragons always try to tell her, is that roses are not only beautiful but also prickly.

Storm-Rose greatly admires her nest-mate Illum Whispers, a White dragon who always seems to be even-tempered and kind, and often wishes she were more like her.

Storm-Rose's best friend is Skylark Whispers, a Skywing dragon whose mastery of the air is even better than hers. They often fly together, especially when there's a storm. Storm-Rose loves the feeling of the gale tugging at her wings and the rain splashing against her maw.
