Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The son of an imposing Black father and a not-so-imposing Pink mother, this dragon tries his best to be a strong and ferocious warrior, but for some reason his schemes never work. Oh he certainly was strong enough to set that entire town ablaze, but, well, there were these puppies there, and they were so cute... and he definitely could have eaten that annoying knight, but it's just the metal would've tasted bad, and...

His father, irritated by his son's softness, gave him the less than flattering name of "Emberizidae," claiming his son is worth nothing more to him than a sparrow--and that he's only got about as much courage as one.
