Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Life has been unkind to this dragon. Abandoned before she had even cracked the shell, she roamed the world hungry and lonely, hoping for nothing more than a loving home. But she knew she was not wanted--she saw how the humans who cared for her kind looked at her, heard the whispers of "foul pedigree" and "inbred," and resigned herself to a life of hardness and suffering. But that harsh existence was flipped on its head the day she came across the renowned gold dragon Felicis. Her attempts to bow and quickly get out of the way of the noble were interrupted by his heavy paw on her shoulder, his booming voice declaring with the deepest joy that he was an ancestor of hers, and was very glad that she had finally returned home. And so it was that she found herself a member of a new and loving family, saved by the kindness of a relative she never even realized she had. And now she has her happy ever after and a new purpose, as well--to help all those who are seeking loving homes.
