Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This unfortunate dragon was graced with a name fit only for a Vampire, or perhaps the most revolting of Black Marrows--- Vincarion. Seemingly a hint as to the Flamingo's favorite dish, it has won him no end of teasing from the other dragons in his clan. He much prefers that he be called Vincy, and most do, but there are those who will use his full name just to set him on edge. He has tried to stand up for himself, but despite his terrible temper his heart is too kind to follow through with the horrible punishments he has promised he will give to his tormenters, so he remains Vincarion, the dragon who eats meat gone rancid.
