Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Playful and carefree to an almost dangerous degree, Skraelling can usually be found flying the skies observing his owner. At the slightest hint of recognition from his owner, be it a whistle, wave, or even a glance, Skraelling will immediately swoop down and give his owner a massive lick. Due to his fondness of his owner and love of flying, it is not uncommon to see Skraelling being used as a mount on his owner's longer trips.

Recently Skraelling has been shown exhibiting odd behavior. Originally he would appear to be counting objects, using a small clutch of stones he carried around with him. This has just evolved into him attempting to solve simple math problems with the stones. When correct he will start dancing around in glee. If wrong, he will usually leave in anger, and find something to break, which always improves his mood.
