Big Cluck was brought to the cave to act as a mother figure to Fluff Ball, a tiny chick that will never age.
She loved this function so much that she spread her mothering to all the young ones in the cave. As strange as it may sound, it makes sense in at least one way: Big Cluck has a very big and loud clucking. She will make herself heard easily.
There are adult dragons in the cave that will bow their heads and obey, when this little white hen scolds them.
