It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A mischievous and cunning beast, this dragon is the second in command of the Putz Band, a group of socially outcast purple dragons who travel the world creating music. While she was born to a wealthy family--and thus would seem a poor candidate for the group--the fawning her shimmerscale siblings received while she was soundly ignored caused her no end of eye rolling and eventually drove her to wander out on her own--although unlike Papuru she has no lasting hurt over it. While much of her time went into organizing pranks and concerts while the band was on the move, life has become a lot more peaceful now that they've settled under the protection of the sorceress ADP, leaving her with less to do. Not one to sit still, she happily volunteered to help their new manager with a project testing how fertility works when breeding rare dragons with common ones... earning her brownie points all while fueling her raging secret voyeurism.
