Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ruler of Moonlight is a very gentle dragon, like most of his breed. He spends much of his time soaring through the star-scattered sky and can often be seen flying in front of the moon, just a dark silhouette outlined against a pure white 'Stone in the Sky'. This male is very wise for his age and during his nighttime flights searches for new knowledge about the world and its secrets. This male believes in harmony of the world, a balance between all opposites. For this reason, he has chosen a mate as his opposite species, Keeper of Sunlight, who is a Sunstone dragon. He strongly advises thers not to cause conflict and believes that when confronted with a problem, the solution lies with knowledge of the natural world, and wisely spoken words.
