Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Kinetoloop is a Whiptail dragon and like his species, extremely fast at almost everything he does. While good natured, he tends to get preoccupied by things very easily. While he can match up to all the Whiptail dragons in his family as far as speed is concerned, he wants to take it one step further. He wants his species to be as swift as lightning, literally. For this reason, he has taken to studying about the science of speed and how a body can move faster. He performs a variety of experiments which are comprehensible only to himself, as they mostly seem to include himself racing various objects which he himself has first tossed into the air.
