Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Lazuli the Skywing is a very unlucky dragon when it come to love. He has bred with at least seven females, and yet just two of those partnerships has produced an egg. After every unlucky try, his behavior is always the same; he slinks off, tail almost curled in, settles in the furthest part of the cave, and falls into a 30 minute snooze, before unfurling his magnificent wings, without a sound, and soaring back into the clouds where he belongs. He normally returns by nightfall, usually with a carcass (elk is his favorite), and curls up gloomily in his nest to eat it. Sometimes, if he's really depressed, he returns the next morning and slumbers so deeply, he is dead to the world. This moody behavior is just like a phase, though; he is back to his old cheery self again after only a few days!
