Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Most cheese dragons would abhor the thought of being devoured by large creatures with sharp teeth, but Dare to be Eaten thinks the opposite way. She has an unquenchable desire to end up on someone's dinner plate, claiming that it is a badge of honor to be considered suitable for consumption. She often hangs around the caves of various dragon clans, bragging to clan members about how good she tastes, but since dragons don't normally eat cheese, her boasts are always ignored. Obviously she's never heard of humans, who are much more fond of cheese; if she did, she would ask them to eat her instead.
