Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Fandango's owner obtained him as a gift and has been watching him grow ever since. As his adult age drew near, his owner awaited the arrival of mating season. Having researched the breed rigorously, she guided him into the forest to hunt for the mating season. Together, they fetched some meat for Fandango to give to the female, who is named Amaranth Cerise. The two dragons successfully mated, creating an egg. However, the owner abandoned the egg so that a lucky person might stumble upon it and raise it as their own.

Fandango is a very intelligent dragon who has has a vivid imagination and is usually quick to understand things. He is always prepared, paying attention to every little detail and following a very strict schedule. Fandango also doesn't like drawing attention to himself and is quiet around strangers. He feels little concern for other people's problems. He is relaxed most of the time.
