Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A powerful mage and a terrifying creature in his own right, Joezinar has become an adept at many branches of magic, some unknown for centuries until he unearthed them, such as teleportation, shape-shifting and invisibility (the latter was rather hard to learn, as the spellbook, like some many others, had a mind of its own and kept on turning invisible to annoy him before he finally put it over a fire and threatened to lower it if it didn't stop messing with him). He has attempted having several apprentices, but none have reached his standards and he sent them away. He has taught a few magics to Faconladir and was quietly impressed with how much he already knew, though he'd be loath to say it outloud.
