Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has a somber color, but is surprisingly playful.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Dusk is an adventurous hatchling, but it must be supervised by adult Dark Myst pygmies when it goes out. Dusk likes to hunt moths and small flying insects when they emerge at nighttime. It also managed to catch a few fireflies and ate them, but they didn't sit too well in the young one's stomach, and since then Dusk hasn't eaten another firefly. Dusk likes to hunt very small mammals as well, and has managed to catch a few voles.
