Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Into the great jungle, a long time before the other dragons discovered the Neotropical race, there was a joyful traditional contest celebrated at a secret glade. During the sunniest day of the year, near to the mating season, all the Neotropical dragons came to show their talent with the reflecting skill of their wings; in fact under the intense, direct light the right movements of the big membranes are able to create an impressive, striped-shade coloured show in the air. Many titles were earned trought that contest, but the most wanted was the one that both Ikyris and her mate won in the newest version of the game, which includes other species too. The fun and the care of the challenge was the same of their ancestors, even if the glade isn't. The two youngs earned the surname "of the Iridescent Wings" due to their skills, finishing their shows with a spectacular flaying couple dancing. From that day their passion is growing stronger and they often project new dances.
