Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Joran always lagged a bit behind his nest-mates. Although he hatched at the same time as them, he matured later. Because of that, he was constantly feeling as though he had to act tougher than he was in order to keep up with them. As he grew he developed a fiery temper and was constantly at odds with the other dragons in the cave. The situation came to a head when, angry with something Angana said, Joran slammed the ground and caused an earthquake that killed most of the eggs and caused Chi to hatch prematurely. Afterwards he was banished from the cave where he stayed until Avna came along. He still is not trusted by many of the others, but they tolerate him and he is beginning to grow friendlier towards them.
