Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
As a Waterhorse dragon, Secrativa loves to spend her days swimming in the giant lake that is her home. After she's done swimming she can usually be found reading by the sun in the late afternoon as the sun slowly descends behind the mountains. She likes to read old scrolls and tomes when Ignashis has the time to bring them to her. Ignashis, her favorite human, comes by every day to play and watch over her as she grows. Secrativa also likes to run around which is quite unlike her ancestors of old who preferred to swim. She has a quiet demeanor and prefers not to get into arguments. As her names suggests she also likes to keep secrets from everyone and is thus secretive. Her cave home at the bottom of the lake holds quite the hoard of treasure; however, it is probably not the same kind of treasure other Dragons might be thinking of. She values knowledge over gold and gems, and she will cast water resistance spells on the books and scrolls to prevent them from becoming ruined.
