Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Moonon thinks of himself as a ladies' dragon, a real "player", someone who can get a new dragoness or three every night. He treats every female he meets as a potential mate, judges them solely on their attractiveness to him and calls them "endearing" pet names like "babe", "honey", and "dolly".

For some reason all his charms don't seem to work with the dragonesses of his clan though. Moonon suspects some terrible curse of some kind, there is no other rational explanation for his lack of success.
