Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

DreamyWhipTail is a Whiptail Dragon who gets into a lot of fights. She has a lot of anger inside her. She has alienated herself from her family, only occasionally speaking to her little sister, DaringDreams. Most of the dragons in her cave call her, "The Nightmare" behind her back and sometimes to her face. Anything she takes offense to she considers worth fighting over, and she has lost a lot of friends because of that. Her only real friend left in the cave is WingedStrength, a Skywing Dragon who loves to duel.
