Black Tea Dragons have small scent glands on the underside of their wing arm that release a pleasant scent. Though many creatures enjoy being in the vicinity of Black Tea dragons, the scent is intended to draw in swarms of butterflies. Though Black Tea dragons are full sized dragons, these insects are the mainstay of their diet.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Masala finds no shame in being one of the laziest, most unproductive dragons in the entire clan. She spends her days lounging in the warm sun by the sea, not even bothering to catch a meal for herself should anything flutter close. Her survival is dependent only on the males that dote on her like a goddess; feeding, defending, and even carrying the lazy Tea wherever she wants to go in hopes of getting a little extra attention from the beautiful dragoness. They are normally disappointed (but not detoured), however, as she tends to favor Turpentine dragons just as her mother did before her. The other clan members simply roll their eyes as they see her being carried along by her band of males, they being fully aware that she would stop her habits and take care of herself if they would simply leave her alone.
