Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sapphire has a elegant, regal feel when around others. She has always been considered a beauty among beasts, or gem amongst rocks. However, she is in no way vain, and in fact ignores the praise given to her. Most of the time, she is expressionless. This, in a way, adds to her elegant look. Her wings resemble those of an angel. She is a descendent of both the Moon and Mist tribes.
