Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Electric yellow scales shimmer brightly across its belly, and an even brighter spark adorns its tail.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Storm's Sparrow was found wandering in the woods by Storm's Wind. His mother had been killed by a hunter, so Wind brought him into the Storm clan. Despite the trauma of having watched his mother be killed, he is recovering well, and is beginning to associate with the other hatchlings. It is unknown how he was frozen; the Storm assume that the hunter was a mage, and a side effect of whatever spells were used on the mother caused his condition. He seems to have taken it remarkably in stride, even the fact that he will never be able to fly.
