Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Vapifyu never was very social and liked to spend days and nights alone, but he quickly saw how sad and rather pathetic that is and started to look for a lifetime mate. But it seems he is more picky than antisocial: the female has to be pretty, smart, a good huntress, good at taking care of little ones, fast and has to sing well. Of course there have been females who fit this description perfectly, but such think too highly of themselves and don't even think of being a mate for Vapifyu forever. Sadly, he is too cocky to realize that he doesn't deserve perfection as he himself isn't perfect or even close at all.
