Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Glypha is yet another addition to her owner's growing nocturnal brood of dragons. Yet, she may be the most entertaining addition to his daytime procedures. Every night, before the sun rises, Glypha takes a new stance outside the communal cave alongside Faerune, whom she seems to look up to as a kind of brother figure. Her stances vary from the intimidating, like a dragon's open mouth waiting to devour someone, to the comical, like the time it appears as if she froze in mid-dance.

In the interest of helping her "big brother", Glypha can often be seen on her nights out accompanying Trys, both in hunts and play. However, she does have a strong playful streak, and will many times take to the skies in search of Stream Newton. As the only dragon that can come close to keeping up with him on his flights, they have developed a small hunting game, competing to see which can make more captures. When one gets to much food, it seems to join Stream's morning hatchling offerings.
