Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Iosiff believes that everything is a competition. He believes that he must be the best hunter, best fighter, best flyer, and even the best mate. He is one of the mates of Suha Kamena, a rather large stone dragon. He is her secondary mate while Kuvinq, a magi dragon, is her primary one. Suha spends more time with Kuvinq and her child with him, while she does not bother with Iosiff often. Because of his competitive attitude, he tries his hardest to win the heart of Suha, wanting to impress her with all his power and skills. And despite this competition of his mind against Kuvinq, Iosiff has a strangely close relationship with Kuvinq's father, Ku'qu.
