Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
When the Dragons of the Storm Crow Clan first found the egg that was to become Prometheus they were mightily puzzled by what they had found. The egg was far too hot to be touched and had to be rolled into the cave using a stick. As it was winter the other dragons were very glad of its presence as they would crowd around it to keep warm. When the magma dragon finally hatched they were glad to find that he was as warm as his egg had been and he was in great demand for melting the snow on the mountain passes. Prometheus has caused a few disasters in the cave, usually by accidentally setting things alight. The most famous occasion was when a flock of sheep was roasted by him on one very odd afternoon. However it was later agreed that this, in the end, had been a good thing and it could only have been improved upon by the addition of mint sauce.
