Aria dragons are a brightly-colored and sprightly breed, perhaps most adored for their lyric calls. Their song-like melodies fill the areas they inhabit; their coos resemble those of birds, only more elegant and refined. They have fairly strong magical capabilities, but tend to reserve these strengths for last-minute defense, choosing to live their lives in simple peace. Arias, sticking to the tropics, typically live quite far from human settlements, giving rise to the previously held belief that they had gone extinct.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

At long last, the ancient dragon known only as OG Pink has found peace and satisfaction in her life. For many, many years, she was determined to produce a child of her own breed, after the first one ran away to the wilderness. But no matter which male she chose to sire her eggs, not one hatched as a bright pink Aria like herself. In time, she stopped trying, and carried on alone, a bitter and sad dragon avoided yet also pitied by most Breedery residents. Long years passed. Then, at a time when OG Pink had long since given up on ever seeing another Aria Dragon, much less producing another Aria child of her own, Lurhstaap sought her out to give her a newly-found Aria Egg. That gave her hope again. It wasn't her egg, but it was of her kind. So she raised the egg, and spent time with males again. Soon enough, OG Pink got her wish for an Aria child. Now she has many companions of her own kind to keep her company in her age. She is bitter and sad no more.
