Turpentine Dragons are named for the oil that covers their scales. This oil resembles turpentine in odor and is mildly toxic; it will not kill but it burns to the touch and will cause illness in anyone who ingests it. Turpentine Dragons roam in large packs, often stealing food from larger dragons, though they are able to hunt for themselves if necessary. Many other breeds consider Turpentine Dragons to be pests, so they primarily breed among themselves.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tyra is a perfect Republicator. She is the perfect Jeedi. She is not, however, the perfect friend. Tyra is a fairly hot-headed dragon, and has a very limited tolerance for annoyance. When she is annoyed past this point, things can get firey--literally. She has the oddest habit of setting herself on fire when she becomes angry, leading to most of the Republicator hatchlings fleeing in terror.

During her first battle with the Separators, Tyra encountered a very rude Thunder by the name of Ventrai. They did not fight, but they did catch each others' eyes, and like magic they were attacking each other without any remorse or mercy.

Ever since that day, Tyra has been hiding her affections for the Separator Thunder, and can only hope that the other Jeedi Masters don't find out...and that she never meets Ventrai on the battlefield ever again.
