Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It always seems to be hungry.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Lirpa Sloof Torrac (or just Torrac) is a very confused dragon. Having his egg stolen on April 1st during the great "Carrot Cave incident", he had been led to believe that he is a carrot. Of course, being just a hatchling, he truly doesn't know what a 'carrot' really IS; he just assumes that he is one, whatever it may be. The other dragons have a hard time convincing him that instead of 'carrots', 'sprouts' and 'seeds', he and his new family are 'dragons', 'hatchlings' and 'eggs'.
