Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to consume charcoal and ashes.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
User Description
Grimstone Sculptor is a Brimstone dragon. She likes to find small, sandy dunes in the morning when it's still cold, and carve them into a suitable home for insects. Then, when the insect in inside the dune house, she traps them inside the saliva-covered sand, and waits until the sun is up in the sky. She goes out when the sun had gone down, uncovers the sand, and delivers the insect to one of the insect-eating dragons after she washes the sand off. The other dragons of her clan think it's a good technique and often take her along with them when they're hunting. As she matured, Grimstone Sculptor realized that she was getting a bit big to dig the insect traps and that her claws were getting clumsier. She asked to be frozen, and she was.
