Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Everyone wonders where the Snow dragon named Bauble gets his materials. The answer isn't a huge secret, but it's one that few know, nevertheless. Perhaps simply because everyone enjoys the sense of holiday magic and mystery, so they don't try hard to find out. The truth is that there are two wild-born Snow dragons at the Breedery. The other is named Ornament, and he is very shy, preferring solitude. He doesn't like attention. But he does love the holiday season and the beautiful things that Bauble makes. So Ornament helps. He works all year to acquire and color-tint the Light mana; collect and spin gold and silver into tinsel; and locate holly, mistletoe, and ivy to pick when the season arrives. Bauble then uses these raw materials to create his yearly extravaganza of holiday cheer. Ornament sometimes helps to put up and take down the decorations, but mostly stays out of sight, so most only ever meet Bauble. Ornament prefers it this way, so he can enjoy the season in peaceful solitude.
