White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Catani is one of the original founding dragons of the Hiawatha clan alongside Orochi   Gwynks. She is the oldest dragon, often referred to as Catani the Elder and is a symbol of unity and peace amongst the tribe. Nowadays she is seldom seen venturing beyond the confines of her den. As as symbol of passage and mark of respect, each new member of the Hiawatha clan makes an offering of succulent berries and delicate flowers to Catani as part of their initiation.
