White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon's real name, Matthias, is rarely used as he is known as the Caretaker. A wise dragon with kind blue eyes, he has a soft spot for all younglings and they love him back just as much. He is always seen with at least one hatchling hanging on to him and doesn't mind when they occasionally attempt to chew on his wings or tail. Adults often come to him as well for healing of cuts, broken scales, and other such injuries. Despite his kind-hearted pacifist personality, he will not hesitate to fiercely protect the young if all other options fail.
