Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Sarkalia always seems so sweet at first, her words caring, her touch kind. But beneath the innocence that brightens her clear blue gaze is a hardened cruelty. This layer of ice adds to the beauty that is always seen by the unsuspecting eye, hiding the danger so clearly visible in plain sight. Her mysterious form is often seen slipping through the frozen forest of her patron season as she flees from the scene of the latest crime she committed. Sarkalia's loyalties do not stretch far, but she is not above lending her skills to another--- many have died at her claws in exchange for a few golden coins. And those who do never realize their murderer until their lifeblood is bleeding into the bare earth.

But when the suffering of winter is eased by the warmth of spring, the bloodthirsty savagery melts from Sarkalia's heart, leaving her the innocent soul she appears to be once more. This path of alternating madness and sanity she leads leaves her with few true friends.
