White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Astrid is quiet, like the rest of her breed. She enjoys flying on winter nights, when no one can see her or judge her.

When she was young, she was picked on and bullied by the other dragons of other colours. Now, her former bullies admire her, and are sometimes frightened, although White Dragons are pacifists.

Astrid was found by other White Dragons. She is no different than anyone else; calm; quiet; regal, almost.

The owner of her parents abandoned her, but a girl saved her from death. Astrid was her first dragon. Although shaky at first, the human girl raised her like anyone would raise a small and precious child. And she did it well.

Astrid prefers to sleep during the day... Most of the girl's other dragons respect her.
